“Bukadaya island is very pretty and pleasant to walk around . There was however no effort by the tour guide to give a proper introduction to what to expect and the bus ride around the island would have been a more informative experience had there been a guided tour by way of shirt explanations as to what each area was meant to represent. The boats toilet facilities are extremely poor and in a pretty deplorable states Lot of improvement required to make this activity enjoyable The guides need to communicate and explain what to expect instead of leaving the customer to make assumptions”

“Used very uncomfortable public transport which took 1.45, very crowded and noisy. Eventually reached Prince’s’ Island, a horrible dirty place. We walked through a couple of streets to wait in the blazing sun for ONE hour (it can be much longer apparently) to wait for a silly 25 minute Electical buggy trip that isn’t worth it according to our fellow passengers. We went off and did our own thing. We then had lunch at an organised restaurant then there was an hour’s free time. “There are actually 4 islands, make sure you ask which one you are going to because the biggest island is the furthest, 2 hours on a ferry which is not made clear on itinerary. The biggest island is the one with the church and orphanage in the itinerary. “Pickup was scheduled for 8:30. Pickup happened at 9:45. The islands themselves were interesting. There was no guided tour - there was an English interpreter on the boat that translated what was said. The interpreter did help us to find the correct bus to take back to the hotel (or near hotel). The lunch was actually very good.”
